Host Your Marathon Fundraising Party With Us!

It’s that time of year again, Boston! We are a little under one month away from the 121st Boston Marathon, which takes place this year on April 17. This is a fun and exciting time for our city and we are always so proud of both our local athletes and our visiting ones.

Athletes running must raise at least $5,000 for the charity they are supporting. The Briar Events team is proud to help numerous runners achieve their goal each year by hosting fundraisers at our venues and offering special fundraising packages!

Briar Events offers several unique venues across the city, all of which are T stop accessible.  We are happy to donate the room rental fee as well as two $25 gift cards for your raffle or auction. All venues have a cash bar & banquet menu options as well. Additionally, our friends at Samuel Adams are also available to bring along some fun to your fundraising party, including branded glassware for their 26.2 brew, their marathon inspired pour as well as other fun giveaways from the Sam Adams Brew Crew.

Check out our available venue options & specifications below:

MJ O’Connor’s- Park Plaza:

  • Accommodates 30-150 guests
  • Bartender fee waived
  • Bring your own DJ or $300 DJ fee
  • Room donated Sunday - Wednesday


Ned Devine’s & Parris:

  • Accommodates 30-400 guests
  • Bartender fee waived
  • Bring your own DJ or $300 DJ fee
  • Stage—discounted $350 Sound Technician Fee to Bring in Band
  • Room donated Sunday – Wednesday


The Green Briar Pub:

  • Accommodates 30-100 guests
  • Bring your own DJ or $200 fee


Anthem Kitchen + Bar:

  • Accomodates 25-75 guests
  • Room donated Sunday -Tuesday

City Bar – Westin Waterfront Hotel:

  • Accommodates 30-80 guests
  • No bartender fee


The Harp:

  • Accommodates 30-175 guests
  • Room available Fridays & Saturdays, 6-9PM or Sundays – Thursdays with no time restrictions
  • No bartender fee
  • $250 DJ fee
  • Stage – discounted $250 Sound Technician Fee to bring in band


Glass House:

  • Accommodates 10-150 guests
  • Room rental donated on Saturdays from 4-6pm & on Sundays with no time restrictions.
  • No bartender fee.
